‘The Lost Archive of Andy Warhol’ – William John Kennedy
It is with immense pleasure and anticipation that Woodbury House presents to you ‘The Lost Archive of Andy Warhol’, an extraordinary solo exhibition showcasing the evocative photography of William John Kennedy. Kennedy’s journey is one of resilience, passion, and fortuitous discovery. Born in Glen Cove, New York, in 1930, his early years were shaped by adversity, yet he emerged as a beacon of artistic ingenuity and insight. From the battlefields of the Korean War, where he served as a Paratrooper, to the vibrant streets of New York City, Kennedy’s path led him to encounter the pulsating heart of the 1960s art scene.
