Do You Just Help Collectors Collect—Or Corporate Companies Too?
The short answer? No.
At Woodbury House, we’re often asked whether we work exclusively with private collectors. The short answer? No. While we pride ourselves on offering a bespoke experience to passionate collectors around the world, we also work closely with corporate clients, hospitality leaders, and property developers looking to curate meaningful art collections that elevate their environments—and leave a lasting impression.
We believe art in corporate spaces isn’t just decoration—it’s strategy. The right piece reflects your identity, defines your space, and tells a story. Whether it’s an HQ in Dubai, a luxury hotel in New York, or an exclusive members’ club in Soho, we’ve curated impactful placements for some of the most forward-thinking companies in the world.

A Shadowman Returns: Hambleton’s Legacy in the Gansevoort, New York City
One of the most iconic examples of our hospitality placements is the Richard Hambleton ‘Shadowman’ painting now proudly displayed in the lobby of the Gansevoort Hotel in New York’s Meatpacking District.
A landmark destination in Manhattan’s luxury lifestyle scene, the Gansevoort is known for its discerning clientele, bold interiors, and curated cultural atmosphere—making it a natural home for one of Hambleton’s most historically significant works.
The lobby boasts an impressive art collection, including works by Banksy and other globally recognised artists. Yet it’s Hambleton’s silhouetted figure—positioned with intent and power—that roots the space in the raw, authentic energy of 1980s New York. Once painted on alleyways and walls across the city, this Shadowman now commands presence in a refined, glass-fronted setting—bridging street history with modern elegance.

Haus & Haus: Art Meets Ambition in Dubai
Another standout collaboration is with Haus & Haus, one of Dubai’s most prominent real estate firms—widely recognised from the hit BBC TV show Dubai Hustle, which follows their agents navigating the city’s ultra-competitive luxury market.
Inside their flagship headquarters, we’ve curated a sharp selection of original works by Richard Hambleton and DEFER—the West Coast graffiti pioneer known for his Spiritual Language calligraphy. The collection brings an unexpected cultural richness to the workspace, reflecting the forward-thinking energy of the business while offering a visual experience that clients and staff connect with daily.
DEFER’s pieces, with their hypnotic, calligraphic structures, embody discipline, rhythm, and motion—mirroring the pace and precision of the company itself. Paired with Hambleton’s gritty edge, the result is a space that blends legacy and modernity, East and West, street and skyline.

The Devonshire: Where Contemporary Art Meets Soho Culture
Nestled in the heart of Soho, The Devonshire has quickly become one of London’s most talked-about destinations—not just for its critically acclaimed food and drink, but for its unique ability to bring together the worlds of hospitality, creativity, and culture.
Downstairs, in the venue’s invitation-only Green Room, a more intimate atmosphere unfolds. This private lounge is frequented by notable names from the worlds of music, fashion, sport, and entertainment—a who’s who of tastemakers that value discretion and distinction. It’s here that Woodbury House has placed a refined selection of works by Blek le Rat, Richard Hambleton, and Torrick “TOXIC” Ablack.
Blek’s unmistakable stencils bring wit and rebellion to the space; Hambleton’s Horse & Rider evokes raw energy; and TOXIC’s abstract compositions offer a fresh, expressive counterpoint—all coming together to form a collection that feels alive and reflective of The Devonshire’s eclectic, forward-thinking spirit.
But it doesn’t stop at visuals. The space also plays host to live music sessions, acoustic sets, and late-night creative gatherings, creating a truly immersive cultural environment. In many ways, the Green Room is less a private lounge and more a modern-day salon—where conversation, creativity, and connection unfold beneath the gaze of some of street art’s most important voices. We’re proud to contribute to this exclusive, ever-evolving celebration of creative culture.

Chotto Matte: Street Art Meets Global Dining
Our long-standing collaboration with Chotto Matte—the vibrant Peruvian-Japanese restaurant in Soho—has led to two standout art installations, blending immersive dining with high-impact visual culture.
The first installation featured original works by DEFER, whose spiritual, script-like compositions brought an abstract energy to the restaurant’s already electric atmosphere. His work, rooted in graffiti tradition yet refined into fine art form, resonated deeply with Chotto’s cosmopolitan audience.
This was followed by a second installation featuring TOXIC, the Bronx-born pioneer and last surviving member of the original Hollywood Africans. TOXIC’s works—colourful, complex, and unapologetically expressive—brought a new rhythm to the space, reflecting the restaurant’s fusion of cultures and fearless style.
Through these collaborations, Woodbury House helped Chotto Matte elevate its interior experience, transforming the venue into a living, ever-changing gallery—where every visit feels like an encounter with something fresh.
