A Reflection on 2025 & Looking Ahead to 2026 at Woodbury House
A Reflection on 2025
As we step into 2026, we want to take a moment to reflect on the year just passed and to thank everyone who continues to be part of the Woodbury House journey.
Our community — collectors, artists, collaborators, and supporters — sits at the heart of everything we do. Your shared passion for art, culture, and creative dialogue helped shape what has been one of the most defining years in the gallery’s history.
Watch our 2025 highlight reel below!
A Year of Milestones
2025 was a year marked by growth, ambition, and meaningful milestones.
One of the most significant moments was the launch of our new gallery space in Dubai — a natural extension of Woodbury House’s international outlook and a reflection of the global reach of the artists we represent. Expanding beyond London allowed us to engage with new audiences while remaining firmly rooted in the values that define the gallery: authenticity, historical awareness, and long-term vision.
Alongside this, we were proud to present a series of landmark solo exhibitions in London, each offering a distinct voice and perspective within contemporary and street art culture.
Highlights included major solo presentations by Gary Stranger, Lee Quiñones, Charlie Ahearn, Blek le Rat, and DEFER — exhibitions that not only celebrated each artist’s individual practice but also reinforced the historical depth and cultural relevance of the movement itself.
Each exhibition was approached with care and intent, offering collectors and visitors the opportunity to engage with the work beyond the surface — understanding context, legacy, and evolution.
Art Beyond the Gallery Walls
One of the most exciting moments of the year was the cinematic release of ‘WAR & PEACE’ by Blek le Rat.
This project marked an important step in taking the work beyond the gallery space and into a wider public arena, allowing new audiences to engage with the artist’s ideas through film. It reinforced a core belief at Woodbury House: that art does not exist in isolation, but lives across mediums, environments, and conversations.
Collaboration, Community, and Partnership
Throughout 2025, collaboration played a central role in our programme.
We were delighted to host a series of events with valued brand partners, including private bank Arbuthnot Latham and restaurant Chotto Matte. These partnerships allowed us to create experiences that extended beyond traditional exhibitions — bringing together art, culture, hospitality, and conversation in meaningful ways.
Equally important was the continued growth of the Woodbury House artist roster, welcoming new voices while deepening relationships with those we represent long-term.
A Moment of Recognition
Thanks to this continued momentum — and the trust of our community — we were incredibly proud to be recognised as the #1 Best Art Gallery in London.
This recognition is not viewed as an endpoint, but as a reflection of the collective energy, support, and shared standards that define Woodbury House. It would not be possible without the artists who trust us with their work, or the collectors who believe in the importance of legacy, quality, and long-term thinking.
Looking Ahead to 2026
As we move into 2026, the focus remains clear.
New exhibitions, special projects, and exclusive events are already in motion — each shaped by the same principles that have guided the gallery since its inception: historical relevance, artistic integrity, and meaningful collector relationships.
We are excited to share the next chapter with you.
Thank you for being part of the journey so far. Here’s to another year of creativity, connection, and unforgettable experiences.
We hope to see you at Woodbury House soon.
