This landmark exhibition marks the first UK solo presentation of the New York artist and filmmaker best known for directing ???? ????? (1983) — the film that captured the birth of hip hop and introduced graffiti, breakdancing, and rap to a global audience.

Beyond his celebrated film career, Ahearn has maintained a lifelong practice as a painter and visual artist. For the first time, large-scale canvases, silkscreens, and mixed-media works spanning from the late 1970s to today are brought together in one exhibition.
