Step inside the private view of ‘Growth’, Gary Stranger’s second solo exhibition with the gallery and the most personal body of work of his career.

On Thursday 20th August 2026, collectors, press and friends of the gallery gathered at Woodbury House’s flagship Mayfair space for the first look at over thirty new works, held in the presence of the artist himself.

The exhibition brings together large scale canvases approaching four metres, hand-ground chalk paint made from South Downs chalk, and works burned into wood through solar pyrography, alongside pieces from Stranger’s ongoing exploration of the letterform, each carrying a single considered word.

A selection of works from the exhibition remains available to acquire.
