‘WILD STYLE’ by Charlie Ahearn

We are proud to present ‘𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗗 𝗦𝗧𝗬𝗟𝗘’ by Charlie Ahearn, now on view at our flagship Mayfair gallery.

This landmark exhibition marks the first UK solo presentation of the New York artist and filmmaker best known for directing 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝘆𝗹𝗲 (1983) — the film that captured the birth of hip hop and introduced graffiti, breakdancing, and rap to a global audience.

Beyond his celebrated film career, Ahearn has maintained a lifelong practice as a painter and visual artist. For the first time, large-scale canvases, silkscreens, and mixed-media works spanning from the late 1970s to today are brought together in one exhibition.
